Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Corn Chaat
Many road trips later, here I am making my spicy twist on the Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich. To make it even better I served this delicious juicy chicken sandwich with a masala and lime corn chaat that adds all of the right zesty notes to this burger. I tend not to fry any of my food, so this recipe is definitely for those craving CFA without all of the extra greasiness of a fried dish. ⏱️ Total Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients
Crispy Chicken Marinade
- 2 Chicken Breasts
- 1/4 C Plain Yogurt
- 1 Tsp Paprika or Red Chili Powder
- 1 Tsp Karahi Chicken Masala (or garam masala)
Coating
- 1/2 C All Purpose Flour
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 2 Tsp Sriracha
- 1 Tsp Karahi Chicken Masala
- Salt & Pepper
- Ghee or Olive Oil
Corn Chaat
- 1 C Frozen or Fresh Corn
- 1 Tsp Olive Oil
- 2 Minced Garlic Cloves
- 1/2 Lime
- 1.5 Tsp Chaat Masala
- Salt & Pepper
Assembly
- 4 Slider Buns
- Hot Sauce
- Avocado
- Tomatoes
- Lettuce
Instructions

Marinate chicken in yogurt and spices for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Butterfly chicken breasts to create 4 thin cutlets.

Mix flour coating ingredients. Brush chicken with ghee/oil, then coat in flour mixture.

Air fry at 375°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.

Make corn chaat: Sauté corn in oil with garlic for 3-4 minutes. Add lime juice, chaat masala, salt, and pepper.

Toast buns lightly.

Assemble: Bun, hot sauce, lettuce, crispy chicken, corn chaat, tomato, avocado, top bun!
